WakeMed CapRac Night Out Thursday April 24

CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY
This two-hour course is designed for registered nurses, communications specialists and pre-hospital providers,, including EMTs and paramedics.

Agenda:

  • 6:00 - 6:15 pm Registration
  • 6:15 - 6:30 pm Welcome, Dale Hill, CapRAC Coordinator
  • 6:30 - 7:30 pm National Disaster Management System (NDMS) - Lessons Learned - Joseph Zalkin, BS, EMT-P, Wake County EMS)
  • 7:30 - 7:45 pm Break
  • 7:45 - 8:45 pm Pediatric Burns - Paul Hinchey, MD Medical Director, WakeMed Mobile Critical Care Services
  • 8:45 - 9 pm Close & Continuing Education Credits Dale Hill, CapRAC Coordinator Sean Gibson Quality Management Officer WakeMed Mobile Critical Care Services/EmergencyServices Institute

There is no fee for the program. Pre-registration is required. To reserve your place, please visit www.caprac.org

Course Credit - 2.0 Continuing Education Credits will be awarded upon completion of the program.

Location/Directions - The conference will be held at the Andrews Conference Center, WakeMed Raleigh Campus, 3024 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, North Carolina. Exit the I-440 beltline at New Bern Avenue (13A) and turn toward downtown Raleigh. Cross over Sunnybrook Road and turn left at the next traffic light into WakeMed's Emergency entrance. The Andrews Center is the first building on your left. Parking is available in the Andrews Center Parking Deck with overflow in the P3 Orange Parking Deck.  The parking fee is $3 per day.
